Judith welcomed everyone back after the Christmas holiday and fortunately we were not too many members short with coughs, colds or other winter ailments! Stephen Amer told us about the work of "Voice Cloud ' - a social enterprise that brings the benefit of singing to a wide variety of groups, such as schools, hospices and dementia sufferers. Paul quickly had us singing with him leading ("Da doo ron ron ron') before making a few suggestions on how we could improve our performance. We then tried our skills on 'Jerusalem' (rather more demanding!) and again Stephen was quick to offer encouragement and reassurance. He suggested that if a fairly confident singer (or singers!) sang the last line of the song, it would cue the rest of us into a united start. I'm sure Judith would be delighted to hear from any volunteers!
